This 3-inch bronze medal honors the legacy of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only all-African American, all-women military unit deployed overseas during World War II. Front (Obverse):
The design features Major Charity Adams, the commanding officer, alongside fellow members of the battalion. A symbolic envelope at the base carries inscriptions marking their service in the Women’s Army Corps during WWII, along with the unit’s name and key dates of operation.
Back (Reverse):
The reverse shows a battalion member organizing mail for distribution, with her comrades behind her managing stacks of delayed correspondence in a busy warehouse. Text highlights the battalion’s motto and locations of service, including England and France, as well as the year of the Congressional honor.

5. Do you ship to P.O. Box addresses?
Yes, via USPS only. Be aware that insurance ends once delivery is confirmed.
6. Do you ship internationally?
No. We only ship within the United States, including P.O. Boxes. We do not ship to U.S. territories or internationally. If you want to export your order, select Bank Wire Transfer as the payment method and you can have your order shipped to a freight forwarder or agent of your choosing. The international portion of the delivery will remain your responsibility.
