Navajo Code Talkers Bronze Medal – 3 Inch
Honor the courage and sacrifice of the Navajo Code Talkers with this 3 Inch Bronze Medal, a larger bronze duplicate of the Congressional Gold Medal presented at the U.S. Capitol on July 26, 2001. This historic piece pays tribute to the dedication and valor of the Code Talkers, whose unbreakable language code played a decisive role in World War II.
Obverse (Heads): Features two Marine Navajo Code Talkers relaying a radio message. The inscriptions read “NAVAJO CODE TALKERS” at the top and “BY ACT OF CONGRESS 2000” along the bottom.
Reverse (Tails): Displays the Navajo Marine Corps emblem with “USMC,” the Marine Corps eagle, globe, and anchor emblem, and “WWII” at the top. The lower inscription in Navajo reads: “Diné Bizaad Yee Atah Naayéé’ Yik’eh Deesdlíí,” meaning “The Navajo Language Was Used to Defeat the Enemy.”
This 3-inch medal is a striking display piece and a meaningful way to commemorate the extraordinary contributions of the Navajo Code Talkers to America’s victory.
