Monuments Men Bronze Medal – 3 Inch
Honor the legacy of the Monuments Men Foundation with this 3-inch bronze duplicate of the Congressional Gold Medal, awarded in recognition of their heroic efforts to preserve and protect the world’s cultural treasures during and after World War II.
Obverse (Heads): Depicts soldiers in action, lifting and removing objects from a cave or mine where stolen works of art were recovered. Inscription: “MONUMENTS MEN.”
Reverse (Tails): Showcases several works of art saved from Nazi theft and destruction, surrounded by inscriptions:
“IT IS OUR PRIVILEGE TO PASS ON TO THE COMING CENTURIES TREASURES OF PAST AGES” and “GEN. DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER.” Additional inscription: “ACT OF CONGRESS 2014.”
The Monuments Men were part of the Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives section of the Allied Armies, tasked with protecting monuments, churches, and cathedrals damaged by combat. 5. Do you ship to P.O. Box addresses?
Yes, via USPS only. Be aware that insurance ends once delivery is confirmed.
6. Do you ship internationally?
No. We only ship within the United States, including P.O. Boxes. We do not ship to U.S. territories or internationally. If you want to export your order, select Bank Wire Transfer as the payment method and you can have your order shipped to a freight forwarder or agent of your choosing. The international portion of the delivery will remain your responsibility.
