Description

The Austrian Gold Philharmonic, also known as the Vienna Philharmonic Gold Coin, is a bullion coin produced by the Austrian Mint. It was first introduced in 1989 and has since become one of the most popular and recognized gold coins worldwide.

The Gold Philharmonic coin is minted with a purity of 99.99% gold, making it a 24-karat coin. It features iconic designs that pay homage to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the world's most renowned orchestras. The obverse side of the coin showcases the Great Organ of the Golden Hall in Vienna's Musikverein, while the reverse side depicts various orchestral instruments, including the cello, violin, harp, Vienna horn, and bassoon.

The Austrian Gold Philharmonic is available in various denominations, including 1/25 oz, 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1 oz. The 1 oz coin is the most popular size and has a face value of 100 Euros, although its actual gold value is significantly higher due to its gold content.
