The Morgan Silver Dollar is one of the most famous and widely collected coins in U.S. history. It was minted from 1878 to 1904, with a brief return in 1921. Named after its designer, George T. Morgan, this coin was struck in 90% silver and 10% copper. It features Lady Liberty on the obverse (front) and an eagle with outstretched wings on the reverse (back).
