Vincent 'Rocco' Vargas
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California, Vincent ‘Rocco’ Vargas played college baseball and then enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served through three combat tours in the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. After four years of active duty, he continued his service in the U.S. Army Reserves.
In 2009, Rocco became a Federal Agent and served at the Department of Homeland Security, and was a medic with the Special Operations Group.
These days, Rocco focuses on being an entrepreneur, actor, writer, author and producer. His film credits include: Lucy Shimmers and the Prince of Peace (2020-Actor and Co-Executive Producer), Not a War Story (2017-Self and Executive Producer), and Dads in Parks (2016-Self and Writer). His highest profile role right now is as ‘Gilly’ on FX’s hit series ‘Mayans MC,’ which is the #1 series on cable TV.
He still maintains a focus on giving back, spending time as a motivational speaker focusing on veteran advocacy, leadership, military transition, and youth issues. Rocco is married with 8 kids.
